WITHOUT A GREAT RE-MINDER SYSTEM
A GREAT LIFE WILL NOT LIKELY HAPPEN!
In process, but useful. Email me if this is of interest so I can reprioritize it (if you don't get the idea to the extent that you will implement it and use it!)
We can do it to a good extent by memorizing something, by doing it over and over, and by habitualizing it. That's great, and it's recommened. But that is not "enough", in my opinion, because there is much more good stuff that we can access to make life better.
Once we've already done what we can by programming our brain, we need to have a system that does the rest of the reminding that is needed (in the high impact areas at least)
Unless you see something either because you run into it (on your bathroom mirror, for instance) or you are guided to the information by an outside force, you will not use it effectively and thus will be missing the good outcomes you would like to have more of.
A system has "interrelated parts" that affect the other parts and operates "mechanically" by cause and effect.
In other words, you will not remember to do something that should be done until "tickled" to do it and then if you follow a good working procedure (way of doing things) you will produce the result.
This is done in two primary ways:
Alarms that happen automatically to remind you to do something, and/or
Looking at a list (or something like it) to see what is to be done and/or what is to be remembered.
The tickler-referencing system is, in function, an additional brain for you, to supplement the limits of the brain that you are blessed with.
