FREEING UP MORE INCOME AND CASH FLOW IN RETIREMENT
TO LIVE THE LIFE OF YOUR DREAMS

FLEXIBILITY AND REALISTIC BELIEFS ARE NECESSARY

Many people who grew up as "obedient children" tend to take on "morality" concepts and values that are not quite true and/or believed but without examining (which is the classic ruiner of life!).   These are all totally ethical and workable.

The people with the soundest healthy thinking might have a license plate holder or sticker saying "I am spending my children's inheritance", for they know they have no technical obligation to the children once they are launched into the world.  And, generally (check with your children), the children want the parents to live as good a life as possible and to know that they'll do ok in life.

It might also be useful to read several books on retirement, including about lifestyle but also about the financial aspects.  And a good class or two might help to get them up to speed.

However, they should avoid the myth of thinking that they should and could manage their own stocks and become good at it - that is not true, and you should use your time to enjoy your retirement.  See Investing Wisdom And Reasoning!

THE "BIG" STRATEGIES TO USE

Unfortunately, for those who are stuck on the idea of depriving oneself or limiting one's financial life for the sake of the children, there can be some resistance to these strategies as people tend to keep themselves in "Box Prison".

These are both strategies that have an "insurance" (in the generic sense) element in them.  They insure the person or the couple of not having obligations that would burden them and of not running out of money if they "live too long."

These two strategies free up "massive" cash flow and make huge differences in life.  However, as is the mathematical reality, they reduce and/or eliminate the "children's inheritance" (entitlement??? No they are not entitled to it!).
