I ALREADY KNOW THAT...
WANNA BET?
(IF THE RESULT IS NOT OBTAINED, SOMETHING MUST BE MISSING!)
(OR, DO YOU WANT TO BE A TIP OF THE ICEBERG NON-THINKER?)
This piece is about erroneous beliefs/conclusions, seeing only the tip of iceberg and failing to see what else is involved or needed. Unless you solve this, you cannot live a stress-free, happy life! The point is to not "stop short" of "filling the gap" necessary to actually come to a true conclusion and sufficient knowing to achieve the desired result!
It is unsmart to not fill in the gap necessary to get what you want in life! (Duh!)
Or, perhaps worthy of Yogi Berra: "You ain't through until you're finished." (Ironically, people violate this truism by "stopping short" in vital areas of life, from correcting false beliefs to learning "enough" to operate effectively.
RESULTS OR NO RESULTS
Getting the desired result or
Not getting the desired result.
"But I know what to do!"
"Well, no, you don't, if you don't get the results to prove you know 'enough' to get the result!" (Duh!)
FILL THE GAP
The solution is always to fill the gap:
Known pieces + Not known pieces → Getting the result
↑
Fill the gap!
You'll hear these alot:
"I 'know' how to lose weight." ("But I get sabotaged and it's too hard.")
"I know, intellectually, that I am worthy." ("But I still 'feel' unworthy and not good enough.)
In both cases, we have "insufficient knowing", where we may know parts of what is needed, but we don't know "enough" to be sufficient to actually get the desired result.
We tend to see the tip of the iceberg and not see what is below the surface - and then we make "conclusions" that have no solid basis (i.e. they are not fact-based and/or logical!).
THE "CONCLUSION"
