NO SUCH BEING EXISTS
NO SUCH ENTITIES EXIST!
No scientist or anyone has identified and verified the existence of a persona called the inner critic.
We have proven that there are neurons, chemicals, electricity, and a brain that uses those to activate some actions (toward survival). We have proven that the brain is an "association machine", that has a system of managing and identifying neural patterns that might seem to be associated with threats (or sex or pleasure, etc.) - but it can be wrong and, in this function, it can be incredibly unsmart and primitive. (Learn How The Brain Works, or you'll be doomed to lots of unnecessary errors in life!)
But we have not proven that there is a group of neural patterns that comprises an entity which might be called the inner critic.
