A MORNING RITUAL
A SCHEMATIC SYSTEM FOR CREATING A GREAT START TO THE DAY!

You plan your route through this, adjust it for time on some days, make it your own, make it a habit, launch your day with it - and, with rare exceptions, you should not deviate from doing it!

Remember, get the key overall perspective and points first.  You would scan the long list quickly to see what is involved.  You would not try to memorize these or expect to be magically capable of following it all.

To implement something we need to have a system and a structure, like checklist.  Use that checklist, be able to find it when needed and, of course, build it into routine and habit to the extent practical within human reality.

For life to work, you must use systems and structures to make each piece work, to be clear and have everything in working order.  This will strengthen your belief in yourself and increase your confidence that you will do what is necessary to get what you want in life.

All the pieces must fit together for the whole system to work effectively.  (Explore, if you wish, this idea in more depth, so that you can use it for great results in life:  Work The System, Work The Plan! And Your Life Will Work, Guaranteed!)

WHATEVER YOU DESIGN...

Follow it religiously, without deviation.  Keep it accessible and referenceable, in something like your small version Reminders Notebook.

Make sure that you at the very least every morning:

Calm your mind, deep breathe
Appreciate, even a quick read (aloud!)
Brief grounding reading
Declarations and intention for the day.

Next, assure that you do the exercise and movement to start off the day!!!

If you "must", you can do the first four actions in less than 3 minutes - surely you can do that during your morning!!!!

AND, REMEMBER...

Do what you've always done and you'll continue to get the results you've always gotten.

RULES

Other than a quick glance for planning your day, do not look at your email!  Never, ever, ever!

DECIDE THE AMOUNT OF TIME

Consider that if you don't do "it" in the morning where your time is your own, you might not do it.

One fellow recommended 60 minutes of reading on improving your life but also added 60 minutes of reading on his profession.  And he suggested that we should leave plenty of time for a nice, relaxed, slow start.
SET UP  Set yourself up as much as possible the day before.  Consider laying out your clothes for the next day, setting up everything so that it is ready to go for the day, writing out a to do list to use for your planning time, identifying the material to read or watch in the morning (so you can go right to it, without having to search for something)...

In the morning, start this way:

CALM your mind and body before you get up!

STRETCH
(Open back up: roll legs to side, while still on back; hold leg up to chest; shoulder open stretch arms behind back, hands intertwined downward; hands intertwined fully upward over head)

Then

CONSUME
Drink your 24 oz. of water
Eat your breakfast (now or within about a half hour; ok after exercise, burns more fat).
BREATHE 10 deep breaths so you are energized and thinking clearly and alertly (or as raise army over head, breathe in, as lower to shoulders, exhable, rapidly) .
EXERCISE A good place to insert morning exercise to launch your metabolism, energy, and mood for the day.  (In my opinion, this is a necessity.)
APPRECIATE Express your appreciation and gratitude (i.e. focus on what is good), reading your gratitude reading piece (in your Reminders Notebook, behind "gratitude").
LEARN something empowering.  Read for up to a 1/2 hour (or an hour?) a book or a continuous website that has reading sequences and lessons.
WRITE what you've learned and discovered from the day before (or review it if already written) and what you will do about it). (This takes various forms, such as using one of these types of journals.)
INSPIRE yourself - Watch something inspirational or motivational.  Happify (free) or something in General Inspiring And Useful Videos To Watch And Be Inspired/Informed By.
GROUND yourself - With delarations, readings from the small version of The Reminders Notebook, review your key pieces to read daily including goals, values.
LAUNCH - Make your declarations and intentions for the day.
"And now I will launch my day into the stratosphere!" (even do the Tony Robbins "Yes! move - see Tony Robbins Directory Of Resources).

START THE DOING PART! - And always, always start your day with a High Value Time Block, such as laid out in Setting Up The Time Blocks To Live The Greatest Life!

Launching and completing a successful flight for the day.

If you are a pilot going to a destination during a certain time period, using the physical body and mind (metaphorically), you might follow this checklist:

__ Assure adequate fuel and energy capabilitiy:
    __ Physical fuel for energy
__ Emotional fuel*  for conversion of energy
         in the right direction
__ Flight plan for the trip
__ Check all systems to see if in order and functioning welll for flight
__ Maintenance was done (sleep, emotional clean up, tuned)
__ Anything not working well enough?
__ Any obstacles or barriers to clear away first?
__ Start the trip
__ Rev engines, get sufficient momentum to take off into flight
__ Don't stop at non essential stops, go directly to destination (the highest value)
__ Take care of passengers as you go (body, primitive mind)

This is the proper order of the essential pieces of a day launch!  I altered mine to this - and it worked wonderfully!

People somehow think we can mysteriously get by without all the pieces of this sequence, but that belief does not align with reality!!!

Don't take off for the day, or life, without being able to function at a vital level.  (Sometimes you have to get by and handle what must be handled in the now, but don't do anything that is optional until you've solved how to do this process well!)
________________

Footnote:

*One cannot take off in life if one does not see where the destination is.  The destination is happiness (aka emotional well-being),  If someone thinks they must not be selfish , must be self sacrificing, it's all about other people, etc. they are missing an essential link of reality.  (They are also setting themselves up for related negative emotional syndromes, such as guilt, shame, and "not being good enough".)

One cannot move forward and get things done (at least not well) if one has unresolved opposing forces.  If there is fear, anxiety, anything that the body/mind must fix or,solve, then it will work on that instead.  Simple, but true!!
______________

It is vital to have a structure!

Of course a plane is a structure designed to assure completion of a result.  It is grand system that is a giant combination of systems, all of which work together.

Set up your systems, tweak them for higher performance, and then live a great, great life!
