THE PATH OF LIFE
YOUR CHOICE:  CAUSE IT OR BE THE "EFFECT" OF OTHER FORCES

Draft...

LIFE CAN JUST "HAPPEN TO YOU"

Yes, there are things that do "happen" to you and influence your path.  And you will just go the way those influences impel you to - unless there is an intervening bit of information that has an ongoing return, one of bringing new information in as a way of life - bending the path of life further up, and then further up, and then further up.

Yes, The Law Of Inertia And Momentum is true and active - and a part of Reality.  You will keep going in the direction of the last force that hits you or influences you, minus some frictional force, until you reach wherever you're headed.

Sometimes, if you can discern where you are headed and can see that that is a highly undesirable place, that force (of realization) can impel you in a new direction.  That is what they talk about in addiction, where you aren't sufficiently motivated until you "hit bottom" (which, in the successful cases, often occurs when those who you care about do an "intervention").  We'll call that the principle of the New Force Of Sufficient Mass, as it applies across many things.

THIS IS LIFE, REALITY

But basically, life looks like the following.  Remember now that this is a mechanical physical reality, one that is only objective.  It contains in and of itself no subjective make-wrong judgment - none, zero, nada.

Born → Influences → Cause your path →  Path continues until outside force hits it

Influences are what you learned from others, your interpretations of life (while you are not yet knowledgeable or logical), your interpretation of experiences.  They are random and not controlled - good ones are a matter of (rare) luck.  One "mislearns" life from these - and suffers needlessly from "mistruths" and "misbeliefs" that are unquestioned and unproven - and he/she makes life "hard" - or at least only a smidgeon of what it can actually be in reality.

(And what you think you want in life may not align with what will produce the end results you would really be happy with, because you have been mistaught about life.)

THE TYPES OF OUTSIDE FORCES

While there are lots of specifics, I break this down into two basic ones:

1.  The "one-impact" forces - where it shoots you off in the direction the force is and you continue until acted upon by a new force.

2.  The "intentional, self generating causing of new beneficial forces" continuing-of-outside forces.

3.  The "oh, sh--" forces, of "realizing".

#1 can be of little benefit or great benefit, but it is almost never enough.  Waiting for it is not a good strategy!

A "HIT AND MISS" WAKE UP CALL AS A MOTIVATOR

#3 is "the 'oh, sh--' force of realizing" "you're screwed if you don't bring in a new force", a new motivating factor that can correct the path to oblivion or to languidness (the PokeyMan life).  This is more of a "cognitive shift", so it is prone to being hard to cause.  It is not unlike the idea of "hitting bottom", except that you don't actually hit bottom.  You must realize that the path you're on will really hurt and that it is worthwhile to spend the effort to change it.  The problem is that we have to make this clear enough - to make it clear about the harm the future will bring.  Part of the process may be to "measure" what is occurring so that one can see that one is on a dangerous path.

But how do you do that?

There are tests of life in general.  There are tests of health and of specific areas.  But we also need to paint a stronger picture, because people tend to lose the point after a relatively small period of time, as "just living life" just takes up all of our time.

And hopefully, with the other proposed parts, these will help lead toward "the most powerful force of all".

THE MOST POWERFUL OF ALL - AND USED BY FEW

#2 is the most powerful in terms of the impact on your life.  It is an intervention from an outside force that has you realize that you, to get what you want in life, you are the one source to intervene to add new forces in the direction you want.  (Of course, you have to know somewhat at least, what you want.)

It is like that old saying "a gift that keeps on giving".

These "new forces" can consist of such things as greater energy (to apply toward what you want) but it is mostly new knowledge, new learnings - but not of general information, say, about trees or frogs or wine - but of how important things work and how to work them

The self-generating force that generates new forces is called by some "growth".
Though growth does, in itself, feel good, it is not justified to call it our goal or purpose (as many experts call it).  It is, instead, a means not an end in itself - yes, it does add value in the experience of it, so it is additive, but what it produces is of far, far greater significance (impact!).

It is actually a growth mindset, as a way of being.  It is something that an individual is convinced of and committed to for life as a way to create the greatest life.  It is indisputably worth all of life, it is invaluable, priceless - and the growth can be obtained for a small cost compared to the huge benefit.  And one of the interesting things about "investing" in growth is that you will get benefits ("dividends") along the way as each new benefit generating piece is added - and the benefits and extra time created will relatively soon exceed all the costs and efforts and time spent.  Who wouldn't want that?   (But, of course, people have to learn why and how and what the costs are and what the benefits are if they are to be convinced.)

Also, although people don't really understand this or fear working with it, incredibly powerful in total are the "habits", as they are, by definition, automatic and effortless (when they are fully in place).  If they are positive habits, they will push the curve upward by themselves to a better place.  So they are a vital part of the awesome "self-generating force."

BUT HOW TO MAKE THIS CLEAR AND CONVINCING?

My problem if I am to do the most good is to persuade strongly a substantial number of individuals to strongly follow the growth path of life, where they avidly add new forces for their greater good, which will in turn impact the greater good of others and cause some to go on the avid growth path.

LEARNING MORE QUICKLY FOR BIGGER AND BETTER IMPACT

Part of the wisdom you will gain is about how to produce more positive impact in your life more quickly.  And that wisdom is about how to be "life productive", so that you ramp up your energy, your ability to have impact, and the directing of that energy toward what you want.  You should start here (after you at least commit a bit about growth, as it will have your commitment grow more) so that your growth will speed up AND get much more impactful.  Follow this:  "Life Productivity" - Producing The Maximum Life In Your Life.  (Hopefully, when you read that, it will also direct you to the short, direct, highly impactful book The Quickest Route To High "Life Productivity" From Wherever You Are Now.

Your Path Is Your Only Path Attainable Under The Circumstances - And There Is No Fault In You - You, however, are "responsible" for the future path, but we need to get on it without self-criticism and self-faulting!   Both of the latter are destructive and draw energy away from a better path.
